Arrival and Departure
- Check in is from 4:30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. on Friday afternoon
- Early/later check in can be arranged at an additional fee and by prior arrangement only: CLICK HERE for details. (link to go here)
- Check out deadline is 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. A later checkout time will incur an additional fee and again, by prior arrangement only: CLICK HERE for details. (link to go here)
Please note: if you arrive prior to the gate opening on Friday afternoon, we shall consider this an early check in and the early check-in fee CLICK HERE for details (link to go here) will apply upon arrival.
Bookings and Cancellations
It's always best to book us directly via our website, email or phone. By booking direct, you will become a Cozy Crafter VIP and will benefit from various benefits over and above those offered by third party booking sites, ie. Online Travel Agencies (OTA’s).
Please note our cancellation policy before committing to a reservation:
- a $200 non-refundable deposit is taken at time of booking
- Unless a booking is cancelled seven (7) days prior to your arrival date, namely by 8:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (or, depending on time of year, Pacific Daylight Savings Time), the full balance will be charged to your credit card and will also become non-refundable at that time.
- We strongly suggest that you take out a suitable insurance product to cover against unexpected events that may result in a cancellation, as we do not jury the circumstances surrounding your cancellation.
- You may transfer your retreat spot to another crafter, but:
- it is your responsibility to collect your $200 non-refundable deposit from the crafter attending in your place;
- you must notify us before the seven (7) day deadline in order to avoid your credit card being charged the full non-refundable amount after which it too will become your responsibility to collect the full booking amount from the crafter attending in your place.
- NOTE: Bookings made via OTA’s, may be subject to differing terms and conditions in force at the time of booking, for that site! It is understood you have done so before making your booking.
- Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking, we will contact you immediately! At that time, you will be given the option of booking a different weekend where space is available, otherwise any payment made will be refunded to you in full.
- For those of you who have ordered any additional extras, and then later wish to cancel any or all of them, you must do so by 8:00 a.m. two (2) days prior to your arrival date (ie. Wednesday morning if arriving Friday), at which time these charges too become non-refundable
Parking Space
- The yard has room for four (4) to five (5) vehicles in a designated area made available for your convenience.
- Vehicles and their contents are parked at owners’ risk.
Change of Room
We reserve the right to transfer a booking to a room of a similar quality where circumstances are outside of our control, or at our discretion.
Damage and Breakages
All items provided during your stay are there for your use and enjoyment. Should you find any of the items irresistible and want them for personal use after your stay, we will be happy to add their replacement cost to your credit card, even if discovered after your departure.
Keys
You have access to the building and your room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you when you register on arrival. You have full responsibility of these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys, or keys not returned, will be charged $100 per set.
Liability
You accept all responsibility during your stay for any and all liability with respect to any damage, loss or injury to yourself or any member of your party and your vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.
Lost Property
We are happy to return items that have been left following your departure; however, there will be a postage and packing charge, plus a $40.00 administration fee.
Payment
- Payment in full is due seven (7) days before your retreat arrival date and we accept MasterCard and Visa.
- We also accept Paypal or direct bank transfers.
- We do not accept cheques.
Prices - We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.
- This does not affect bookings already made.
Smoking - Smoking is NOT permitted within any part of Cozy Crafters Retreat.
• Offending guests will be asked to leave immediately and a deep cleaning fee of $1,000 will be payable immediately.
• This WILL be applicable, even if discovered after your departure.
Termination Policy
Cozy Crafters Retreat reserves the right to terminate, without notice, an individual’s stay, when deemed necessary, if a guest exhibits unacceptable behaviour, including actions which are likely to endanger or offend others, and/or for non-compliance of our non- smoking policy. Under such circumstances, no refunds will be made.
